Cause, Manner Of Death Released For PA Fire Police Captain: Coroner
A Fire Police captain who has been missing since Thursday afternoon, Oct. 17 was found dead over the weekend, details were released by the Lancaster County Coroner's Office on Monday, Nov. 4. Tony Bortner, 51, of Windsor's cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head and the manner was suicide, the coroner explained in the updated release. A woman in Levittown who was supposedly screaming about Lucfier is accused of stabbing her mother, according to a criminal complaint obtained by Daily Voice. Emily Ann Rizzo, 32, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and related misdemeanors, court records show. The police were called to an Ivy Hill Road home on Tuesday, July 2 for a reported stabbing, according to the criminal complaint. The cause of death for former Pittsburgh Penguins player Konstantin Koltsov has been ruled suicide, police in Miami tell Daily Voice. Koltsov, who played for the Penguins from 2002 to 2006, is believed to have leapt to his death from a balcony of a resort in Miami, a spokesperson for the Miami-Dade Police Department said. Philadelphia police believe a man found bound, gagged, and lifeless in a Bustleton home Thursday morning died by suicide. The police killing of a 69-year-old woman in front of her Upper Moreland home last month was a justified use of deadly force, says the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office.
