25-Year-Old Nabbed In Stabbing Of Man On Long Island A suspect is behind bars following a stabbing attack on Long Island that sent a man to the hospital. The incident happened in Massapequa, near the intersection of Polo and Oxford roads, shortly after 11 p.m. Monday, Oct. 7.  Nassau County Police said a 22-year-old man and a 25-year-old man got into an argument before the older man stabbed the victim in his torso and arm. Suspect Nabbed After 30-Year-Old Shot, Killed In Broad Daylight Outside Long Island Residence A suspect has been apprehended after a fatal shooting in broad daylight outside a Long Island residence. It happened around 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30 in Brentwood. Joshua E. Jasmin, age 30, of North Babylon, was transported via Brentwood Legion Ambulance to South Shore University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Following an investigation, Romeo Campbell, age 23, of Brentwood, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. He was held overnight and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Saturday, Aug. 31.

Suspect Nabbed In 7-Eleven Robbery On Long Island A suspect was arrested in connection with a robbery at a Long Island 7-Eleven store. The incident happened in Oceanside, at the 7-Eleven on Atlantic Avenue, at around 5:20 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13. Nassau County Police said a man entered the store and began removing around 20 cigarette boxes from behind the counter. He threatened an employee before leaving without paying. A short time later, officers arrested 33-year-old Anthony Candelaria, of Oceanside, on suspicion of third-degree robbery. He was scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Wednesday, Aug. 14.
