Car Fire Breaks Out In Restaurant Parking Lot In Hudson Valley: Report
A vehicle caught fire in the parking lot of a Rockland County restaurant, but quick action by the driver and bystanders prevented it from spreading further.
The fire happened on Tuesday night, Jan. 20, in the parking lot of Seasons Express on Route 306 near Grandview Avenue in Monsey, The Monsey Scoop reported.
According to the report, the vehicle’s owner, with help from several bystanders, was able to knock down the flames before emergency crews arrived on the scene.

Several people were hurt and power outages were reported after a crash involving a bus and two cars brought down a utility pole in a Rockland County neighborhood.
The incident happened around 9:15 a.m. Friday, June 6, at the intersection of Hilltop Place and Highview Road in Monsey, according to The Monsey Scoop and Ramapo Police.
Emergency crews from Hatzoloh EMS, Spring Hill EMS, the Monsey Fire Department, and Ramapo Police responded to the scene.
