3 Children Among 5 Found Dead In Carbon Monoxide Incident, Authorities Say A man, woman and three children were found dead inside an Ohio home in what authorities believe was a case of carbon monoxide poisoning. The victims were discovered on Tuesday, April 15, after a call to 911 at around 10:45 a.m. reported multiple unresponsive individuals inside a residence in Clay Township, on State Route 7, according to Gallia County Sheriff Matt Champlin. Gallia County is located in southeast Ohio and borders West Virginia. National Day Of Mourning To Close Sullivan County Government Offices Sullivan County government offices, including transfer stations and the Department of Motor Vehicles, will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 9, to observe the National Day of Mourning following the passing of former President Jimmy Carter. According to County Spokesman Dan Hurst, essential services, including the 911 center, the Care Center, and the Sheriff’s Office, will continue operating as usual.  Legislature meetings scheduled for the day have also been canceled.
