A man is facing arson and criminal mischief charges after allegedly trying to ignite a fire on a Rockland County bridge over the summer, police announced.
Watson Germosen, 34, of Stony Point, was arrested around 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7, following an investigation into a July incident on the James A. Farley Bridge (Route 9W) in Stony Point, the town's police department announced on Wednesday, Oct. 8.

President Donald Trump says gas is down to $1.98 a gallon, but that number doesn't exist at any pump in the country.
In early May, Trump has repeatedly claimed gas has fallen below $2 a gallon. He made the claim in the White House, social media posts, and during an interview with NBC's Meet the Press on Sunday, May 4.
