Car Goes Up In Flames On I-84 In Orange County A weekend car fire on Interstate 84 in Orange County prompted a fast firefighter response and caused temporary road closures.  Reports of the blaze came in at around 4:15 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, when the Cronomer Valley Fire Department and Good Will Fire Department were initially dispatched to reports of a vehicle fire along I-84.  When crews were unable to locate the fire in their own districts, they continued searching into neighboring Middle Hope, where the disabled vehicle was eventually found within the Town of Newburgh, according to the Middle Hope Fire Department.&…

Double-Fatal House Fi2 Killed, Including 1-Year-Old Girl, After House Fire Breaks Out In Region A mother and her 1-year-old daughter were killed in a large house fire in the region that left another child and a man were seriously injured. The blaze broke out in Dutchess County in the town of Clinton at 10:40 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13. According to New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks, troopers responded to a residential house fire with the East Clinton Fire Department on Clinton Hollow Road in the town of Clinton.
