A former Brooklyn wig influencer has been charged in a horrific crash that killed a mother and two of her young daughters while critically injuring her son on Ocean Parkway, while driving on a suspended license, according to the NYPD and Daily Voice sources.
Miriam Yarimi, 32, was arrested Saturday, March 29, after police say she blew through a red light at Quentin Road and Ocean Parkway and slammed into a Toyota Camry before plowing into a family in a marked crosswalk just after 1 p.m.

Transmission Defect Could Lock Up Wheels, Prompting Massive Cadillac, Chevy Recall
A transmission defect in more than 90,000 Cadillac and Chevrolet vehicles could cause the front wheels to lock up while driving, increasing crash risks, officials said.
The recall affects about 90,081 2019-2020 Cadillac CT6, 2020-2021 Cadillac CT4 and CT5, and 2020-2022 Chevrolet Camaro models equipped with a 10-speed transmission, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said. According to NHTSA, internal transmission damage could lead to sudden wheel lock-up, creating a serious hazard for drivers.

A man accused of stealing a car from an Orange County shopping center allegedly did so with the victim's mother still inside the vehicle, whom he struck repeatedly, prosecutors said.
