Man, Woman Killed In Home Explosion In Hurley
Two people were killed in a house explosion in the Hudson Valley. Emergency crews in Ulster County responded to a residence on Brueckner Lane in the town of Hurley for an explosion at around noon Wednesday, March 19, according to New York State Police. Firefighters found the home completely leveled and engulfed in flames. Further investigation revealed that two residents–Ralph Brueckner, 75, and Cheryl Hathaway, 58–were both killed in the blast, police said. One person was killed in a fire that tore through a Capital Region home. Death Of 3-Year-Old At Home In Region Under Investigation
Authorities are investigating the death of a 3-year-old child at a Capital Region home. Emergency crews in Saratoga County were called to a Corinth residence on Main Street for a child who was struggling to breathe at around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19. The child was transported to Saratoga Hospital where they were pronounced dead, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies did not speculate on a cause of death.
