Alessandro “Alex” Borgo, of Montclair, was 31, according to his obituary on the Caggiano Memorial-Home website. Born in Brazil, Borgo moved to the United States at 5 years old and graduated from Rutgers in 2018, his obituary reads. He worked with his father, Valdeci, at Borgo Construction and raced snowboards while at Rutgers. Kings was acquired by Acme Markets for $96.4 million after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in 2020.
