Authorities are trying to locate a Long Island teenager who has been missing for nearly a week. Kimberlee Rivera, 15, of Roosevelt, was last seen on Friday, Dec. 27, according to the New York State Missing Persons Clearinghouse. A brother and sister from Long Island are accused of abusing their elderly mother to the point the woman died. Nassau County Police were called to a Roosevelt home at around 2:40 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, to perform a welfare check. Inside, officers found 85-year-old Carmel McDougall unresponsive.
