A person suffered critical injuries after falling through the roof of a home in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County, in the Red Oaks Mill area of Arlington, at 12:50 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11. Three people were rescued from a burning Hudson Valley home and hospitalized, firefighters said. The blaze happened in Putnam County on Tuesday, Nov. 5 just after midnight, when flames went up on a home's porch in the Lake Secor area of Mahopac, according to the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department. A man had to be carried around 60 feet up a rocky Hudson Valley gorge after crashing into it, authorities said. The crash happened in Putnam County on Sunday, Oct. 6, when an all-terrain vehicle crashed down a cliff in Cold Spring at the gorge on Mill Road, according to the North Highlands Fire Department.
