On Tuesday, Sept. 19, Westport Police arrested one of the teens in connection with the carjacking that took place in Westport around 3:50 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 17 on Bayberry Lane.

Northern Westchester Native Who Served In Navy, Worked As Physical Therapist Dies
A native of Northern Westchester who served in the military and worked as a physical therapist has died.
Peter E. Clark, who was born in Mount Kisco and graduated from Fox Lane High School in Bedford, was age 62.
He died on Sunday, April 30, and was a longtime resident of Palm Harbor, Florida.
After growing up in Bedford and graduating high school, he joined the US Navy and served his time in honor of his country out at sea during the time of the Libyan Crisis, according to his obituary.

A man and woman were both ejected in a single-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley, authorities said.
It happened around 1:45 a.m. Saturday, April 15 in Putnam County on I-84 in the town of Southeast.
A preliminary investigation determined that the driver, Yorman Hernandez-Alcala, age 29, of Bristol, Connecticut, was traveling eastbound in the right lane when the vehicle in the left lane failed to stay in the lane, causing him to lose control, New York State Police said.

21-Year-Old Accused Of Raping Minor In Hudson Valley
A 21-year-old man has been charged with the rape of a minor in the Hudson Valley.
Connecticut resident Axell Enrique Orellana Flores, of Waterbury, was arrested on Monday, Nov. 7, in connection with an investigation into inappropriate sexual contact involving a minor, said Capt. John Watterson, of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.
Flores is accused of having sexual intercourse with a person under the age of 17 in the town of Fishkill on Sunday, Nov. 6, Watterson said.

A DoorDash driver and a driver for hire in the region has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in locating him.
Connecticut Carlos Reyes, age 20, was reported missing by his family members in Fairfield County at around 8 a.m. Thursday, March 31, according to the City of Danbury Police Department.
His family said they last saw him on Monday, March 28 at approximately 11 p.m.
Reyes was known to frequent Danbury, Waterbury, and Naugatuck, said police.

Sister Rosemary Garrity, 94, died on Sunday Sept. 9 at the Maryknoll Sisters Center in Ossining.
She was 94 years old and had been a Maryknoll Sister for 71 years.
She was born in Waterbury, CT on Jan. 10, 1924, to Margaret (Nash) Garrity and Frank Garrity.
She is survived by her sister, Rita Mallon.
She was predeceased by four brothers, the Rev. Thomas Garrity, who served as a Maryknoll father, Dr. Joseph Garrity, John Garrity and William Garrity.
