Hudson Valley Man Shot On Town Street, Suspect On The Run, Police Say Police in the Hudson Valley are asking the public for help after a man was found shot on a town street.  The incident occurred in Orange County at 11:55 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 31, at 76 Sandburg Court in Wallkill. According to Lt. Robert McLymore of the Wallkill Police, responding officers found a 27-year-old Wallkill resident suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper left arm.  Wallkill Emergency Medical Services transported him to Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown for treatment. 8-Year-Old Found Dead From Possible Drowning In Backyard Pool In Hudson Valley, Police Say An 8-year-old was found dead partially submerged in a backyard pool and a man was discovered alongside the pool in critical condition in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Orange County in the town of Wallkill around 8 p.m., Sunday, July 3. The child was found when Wallkill police responded to a home at 302 Fair Oaks Drive for a possible drowning, said Deputy Chief Antonino Spano, of the Wallkill Police.
