A man faces charges after allegedly breaking into a victim's apartment while they were sleeping in Northern Westchester, police said. The incident happened on Sunday, May 14 around 3:15 a.m., when police in Yorktown received a report of a man entering a victim's apartment without permission while they were sleeping, according to Yorktown Police. Officers then responded to the scene and met with the victim before beginning an investigation into the incident. Trio Nabbed After Robbery Of Pharmacy In Northern Westchester
Three suspects who ransacked a pharmacy during a robbery in Northern Westchester are in custody after a manhunt, authorities announced. The incident happened on Thursday, June 30 at around 4:20 p.m. at the Yorktown Pharmacy on Commerce Street. A 23-year-old took officers on a high-speed chase in Northern Westchester as he attempted to avoid a traffic stop, police said. Shortly before 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 15 in Yorktown, an officer on patrol spotted a driver speeding on Underhill Avenue and failing to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Route 129, turning without signaling.
