Route 304 Closed Due To Overturned Truck
Motorists can expect major delays in the area as a stretch of Route 304 will be closed for several hours due to an overturned truck that has spilled debris across the roadway. Clarkstown Police said the crash occurred just before 10 a.m. just south of West Nyack Road in Nanuet covering the roadway with debris that will have to be cleared, as well as having the truck towed. All northbound traffic is being diverted from Route 304 to Route 59. Motorists are asked to avoid the area. This is a developing story. Check back to Daily Voice for updates.

I-84 Lane Closure Expected To Last Through Thursday Afternoon
A lane closure on I-84 will continue Wednesday afternoon through late Thursday afternoon as crews perform construction activities in the area. The New York State Department of Transportation issued an alert on Halloween warning that the eastbound right lane of the interstate in Orange County will be closed until approximately 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1 between exit 5 (Route 208) and exit 5A (Route 747) in Newburgh. The NYSDOT warned that motorists can expect delays in the area during the construction, and should seek alternate routes, when possible.

The New York State Department of Transportation announced that beginning at 6 a.m. this week, Route 208 will be closed between Clove Road and JMD Drive in Blooming Grove. Overturned Vehicle Crash Causes Delays On I-87 In Orange County
This story has been updated. An overturned vehicle crash that initially closed one lane of traffic caused delays on I-87 in Orange County, state police said. The crash took place around 11:38 a.m. Tuesday northbound in Tuxedo Park, said Trooper Michael Costello. The right northbound lane was closed for a short time as the car was removed. One person was injured and had to be extricated from the vehicle. There is no report on the extent of the injuries.
