Police Asking Residents To Be 'Vigilant' After 3 Rockland County Home Burglaries
Police in the Hudson Valley are asking residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity after three residential burglaries. The incidents occurred in Rockland County in the village of Montebello. The Ramapo Police Department reports it is investigating three recent residential burglaries in the Village of Montebello. Package Possibly Stolen From This Hudson Valley Neighborhood, Police Warn
Authorities are seeking information regarding a possible package theft in a Hudson Valley neighborhood. As tensions in the Middle East rise following Iran's attack against Israel, authorities in the Hudson Valley are taking precautionary measures to look out for suspicious activity and to keep residents safe. After reports on social media of men following a woman and a child in a Hudson Valley Target store, police found the suspects and investigated the crime. The incident took place in the Town of Poughkeepsie around 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 6. A suspicious man sought to lure a woman into the back of his van in the parking area of a Northern Westchester business park, police said. Shortly after 3 p.m. on Monday, March 21, a woman walked into North Castle Police Headquarters to advise that she had just been approached by a man trolling in a van. Video: Burglars Caught On Camera Breaking Into Home In Area
Two masked men were caught on camera brazenly breaking into a home in Ramapo. On Tuesday, Dec. 17, investigators from the Ramapo Police Department responded to a reported burglary on Coe Farm Road in Montebello. Police said that the two suspects forced their way into the home through the front door and ransacked the residence. Police are once again asking residents to lock their vehicles and remove valuables after several were the target of burglaries. The burglaries took place in Pearl River on Monday, Dec. 24, in the area of S. Magnolia Street, W. Park Avenue, Rizzo Circle, Fairview Avenue, and Springsteen Avenue, Orangetown Police said.
