Hudson Valley School Bus Aide Charged With Sex Abuse Of Student
A Hudson Valley school bus aide has been charged with sex abuse for allegedly touching an 8-year-old on the bus for more than a week. Orange County resident Nicola Loguerico, age 76, of New Hampton, was arrested on Monday, May 20, stemming from an incident on a Minisink Valley Central School District bus. Child Sex Abuse: Hudson Valley Man Nabbed For Assaulting Juvenile, Police Say
A 56-year-old Hudson Valley man has been charged with child sex abuse following an investigation. Rockland County resident William Kwiecinski of Stony Point was arrested on Tuesday, June 20 after police were made aware of a complaint from Orange County and the town of Montgomery. According to Stony Point Police Lt. Greg Becker, Kwiecinski had sexual contact with a juvenile in August 2022. He was charged with sex abuse and endangering the welfare of a child while in Stony Point, Becker said. Kwiecinski was released on a $10,000 bail and is set to return to court in July.

A former police officer in Northern Westchester admitted to sexually abusing a woman he threatened with arrest while he was on duty multiple times over the course of nearly a year, the District Attorney’s Office announced. Man Engaged In Sex Act With Underage, Disabled Victim In Area, Police Say
An area man is behind bars after state police say he engaged in a sexual act with an underage and mentally disabled victim. State Police arrested the 64-year-old Orange County resident on Friday, July 19. Charles Sandike, of New Windsor, was charged with criminal sexual act (a felony), sex abuse (sexual contact with an individual less than 17 therefore incapable of consent), and endangering the welfare of a child (both misdemeanors).
