Hudson Valley Man Busted Selling Crack At Public Housing Facilities After Complaints A man from the region was busted for allegedly selling crack cocaine in a public housing authority area. Dutchess County resident Victor Smith, age 66, of Poughkeepsie, was charged on Thursday, Sept. 26 at his Poughkeepsie home. According to Det. Sgt. These Hudson Valley Communities Awarded Millions In State Grants Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that more than $8 million has been awarded to six Hudson Valley municipalities as part of his Restore New York initiative.
