Hudson Valley Man Busted Selling Crack At Public Housing Facilities After Complaints
A man from the region was busted for allegedly selling crack cocaine in a public housing authority area. Dutchess County resident Victor Smith, age 66, of Poughkeepsie, was charged on Thursday, Sept. 26 at his Poughkeepsie home. According to Det. Sgt. Adam Harris of the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force, the force began an investigation after receiving complaints from residents regarding drug dealers operating in or near Poughkeepsie Housing Authority facilities throughout the city of Poughkeepsie. These Hudson Valley Housing Projects To Receive Portion Of $260M Fed, State Funding
More than a quarter billion dollars in federal and state funding will go toward addressing New York’s housing crisis. These Hudson Valley Communities Awarded Millions In State Grants
Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that more than $8 million has been awarded to six Hudson Valley municipalities as part of his Restore New York initiative. Nearly $81 million was awarded to 71 municipalities statewide.
