Thousands of longshoremen along the East and Golf coasts are on strike in a move that could heavily impact the economy and make it harder to get goods and services. In Elizabeth, NJ, the strike began on Tuesday, Oct. 1 outside Maher Terminal where hundreds of dockworkers rallied.
