Suspect On Loose After 15-Year-Old Shot In Westchester County, Police Say A 15-year-old boy was hit twice in a Westchester County shooting, police said.  On Wednesday, Oct. 26 at around 10:30 p.m., police responded to a reported shooting in Yonkers in the area of 290 Woodworth Ave. and found the victim suffering from two gunshot wounds to his lower body, according to Yonkers Police.  The victim was taken to a local hospital and is now in stable condition, police said.  Through preliminary investigation, police determined that the victim was in front of the building with several others when the suspect approached them and fired three shots in their…

Bones Found On Hiking Trail In Hudson Valley, Police Say An investigation was conducted after bones were discovered on a Hudson Valley hiking trail. The bones were found in Orange County in the area of Route 218 on Saturday, Oct. 15 on a trail in the town of Cornwall at Storm King State Park.  According to Cornwall Police Chief Todd Hazard, after the discovery, the department contacted the state park police as well as the Orange County Medical Examiner's Office for examination. Westchester Teen Dies After Being Stabbed During Dispute, Police Say A Westchester teen has died after being stabbed in the neck during a dispute. Armani McDonald, age 19, of Mount Vernon, was killed just before 5 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 17 in the Bronx. According to the NYPD, police received a 911 call of an assault in progress at 2550 Briggs Ave., in the Bronx. Upon arrival, officers found McDonald with a stab wound to the neck, NYPD said. 18-Year-Old Shot Walking Down Street In Hudson Valley, Police Say Police are investigating after an 18-year-old was shot in the leg while walking down a street in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Rockland County just after 1 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 5 in the hamlet of Hillcrest. According to Det. Lt. Chris Franklin of the Ramapo Police, the man was walking on Slinn Avenue in Hillcrest when he was shot. He was treated at Westchester Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries, Franklin said.
