Woman Rescued After 25-Foot Fall Down Embankment In Hudson Valley
A Hudson Valley woman who fell more than 25 feet down an embankment was rescued by police and firefighters. The incident took place in Orange County around 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 2 in Port Jervis near the Mid-Delaware Bridge and the Delaware River. Port Jervis Police officers responded to the area of Pike Street and Water Street near the bridge for a 911 report of a woman calling for help, the department said. A19-year-old has been charged with stabbing another man in the area. Ricky Hill, of Port Jervis, is accused of stabbing a 23-year-old man in the abdomen causing serious physical injury during an incident in Port Jervis that occurred at the intersection of Pike and East Main Street during the evening hours of Sunday, Sept. 8, Port Jervis Police said. A man who allegedly nearly struck a park ranger with his car led police on a wild ride from Pennsylvania into Orange County, where he was eventually taken into custody by officers in Port Jervis. Suspected Drug Dealing Trio Nabbed In Area
An extensive, multi-agency law enforcement investigation led to the apprehension of three alleged drug dealers who were busted with heroin, crack cocaine and cash in Orange County.
