Police were responding to reports of a 4-month-old baby who had stopped breathing when the woman's black Mercedes Benz hit the driver's side door of the police car parked on Oradell Avenue, Police Chief Kenneth Ehrenberg said. The total of near 400 closures would be 45 percent of the toy retailer's total number of stores. Toys 'R' Us also reversed plans to offer severance packages to all affected employees, The Wall Street Journal reported. The locations of the 200 stores were not available. A Paramus EMS ambulance took the victim to Hackensack University Medical Center after a Toyota Corolla he was in collided with a Ford SUV at the intersection of Forest and Oradell avenues.
