The body of a 75-year-old man who went missing in the area has been found. Richard Kendall was last seek walking on foot in Rockland County in the area of Marion Street and North Broadway in Nyack and he was reported missing by his wife at 1:19 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon. On Monday, Nov. 8, Orangetown Police reported his body was discovered in a densely wooded area of Nyack Beach State Park. No suspicious activity has been found at this time, police said.. Westchester Man Charged With DWI In Nyack Stop
An early morning traffic stop in Rockland County led to the arrest of a 50-year-old Westchester man who was allegedly intoxicated and driving with a suspended license, police said. An officer from the Orangetown Police Department stopped White Plains resident Rodney McCallop shortly before 4 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 7 on North Broadway in Nyack when he committed a traffic violation. A 31-year-old man is behind bars after police say he used a pry bar to break into a building in Nyack. Orangetown police officers responded to North Broadway in the Village of Nyack for a report of a person breaking into the building with a pry bar on Friday, March 15 at approximately 10:50 a.m. Upon arrival, police discovered the lock on the front door broken and the suspect, Terry M. An 81-year-old woman hit by a pickup truck driven by a Fairfield County man has died from her injuries, according to the Orangetown Police Department. Sueann Esposito of Orangetown died from injuries sustained when she was hit by a 24-year-old Stamford resident Edvin Lopez, around noon Tuesday at the intersection of North Broadway and Main Street in Nyack, said Sgt. A woman was seriously injured after being hit by a pickup truck driven by a Fairfield County man in Nyack, according to the Orangetown Police Department. The incident occurred around noon Tuesday at the intersection of North Broadway and Main Street in Nyack, said Orangetown Police Department Sgt. Kerri Schiller.
