Woman's Body Found In Wooded Area In Hudson Valley Police are investigating after the body of a Black woman was found in a wooded area in the Hudson Valley. The woman's body was found in Rockland County on Wednesday, April 3, in the area of the baseball field on Dutch Lane in the village of Spring Valley. Spring Valley Police said the woman is about 60 years years old but did not provide details on how the woman, who has not yet been identified, died or where. Nicolas Faust, age 43, formerly of Ulster County in Marlborough, and Westchester County in Peekskill, was reported missing by his family, said Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police. Faust was last seen by friends in the Mill Street area of Poughkeepsie on Sunday, March 24 around 2 a.m. He is described as being 5-foot-9, 175 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. Person Hit, Killed By MTA Train In Hudson Valley A person was struck and killed by a Metro-North train in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Orange County around 2 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 27 in Tuxedo. According to a Metro-North spokesperson, an unauthorized person was on the tracks when struck east of Tuxedo Station and killed. No criminality is suspected, officials said.
