Storm Bringing Snow, Wintry Mix Leads To School Closures, Could Cause Hazardous Travel
A new winter storm system arriving from west to east on Wednesday morning, March 9 has led to numerous school closures and could cause hazardous travel at times during the day into the early evening. Some roads can become slushy and slippery and a few inches can accumulate in grassy areas, on cars and other elevated surfaces, according to AccuWeather. Snow Squalls Could Cause Whiteout Conditions, Slippery Travel
Don't let the bright sunshine that has followed the latest winter storm to sweep through the area fool you. Conditions are expected to be much different Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 30.
