13-Year-Old Riding Bicycle Struck, Killed By Vehicle On Residential Roadway In Hudson Valley Police are investigating a crash in which a boy was killed on a residential roadway in the Hudson Valley. It happened around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 29 in Rockland County. That's when the bicyclist was struck by a vehicle in the village of Pomona at the intersection of High Mountain Road and Overlook Road. Upon arrival, units discovered the vehicle with the 13-year-old boy underneath the vehicle, said Chief John Gould Jr. of the town of Haverstraw Police Department. 15-Year-Old Struck By Car In Hudson Valley, Seriously Injured A 15-year-old was struck by a vehicle and seriously injured along a Hudson Valley roadway. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 6:10 p.m., Monday, May 6, at 290 W. Route 59 in Spring Valley. According to Det. Matthew Galli of the Spring Valley Police, responding officers, found the teen being treated by Chaverim and Hatzoloh EMS members.  The victim was transported to Westchester Medical Center in Vahalla for further treatment and is listed in stable but serious condition, Galli said. Man, Woman Critically Injured In Route 17 Crash Paramedics revived one man and a second woman was airlifted to the hospital after being rear-ended on Route 17. A Lexus driven by Ulster County resident Lee Cone Jr., of Ellenville, was stopped in the left lane of Route 17 in Sullivan County west of exit 107 in Thompson when the driver of a Honda Civic drove into the rear of the vehicle, New York State Police said.
