Wrong Turn Case: Suspect In Death Of 20-Year-Old 'Uncooperative,' Sheriff In Upstate NY Says
A New York man accused of opening fire on a group of people who accidentally turned down his driveway, killing a 20-year-old woman, is not cooperating with police, authorities said.
The shooting happened Saturday night, April 15, in Washington County, in the town of Hebron, located southeast of Glens Falls.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday, April 17, Washington County Sheriff Jeffrey Murphy said the suspect, 65-year-old Kevin Monahan, has refused to speak to investigators about the shooting.

Man Sentenced For String Of Monroe Robberies
An area man wanted for a string of armed robberies dating back to 2016 has been sentenced to 11 years in state prison.
John Elliott, 31, of Woodbury, was sentenced Monday, Jan. 7, to two concurrent sentences of 11 years, followed by five years post-release supervision after pleading guilty on June 6, 2018, to two counts of robbery in connection with robberies in the Town of Monroe between December 2016 and December 2017, said Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler.
