A major Hudson Valley drug trafficker pleaded guilty to selling drugs and is expected to spend up to 13 years in prison.
Orang County resident Andrew Mitchell, aka "Loc," age 49, of Chester, pleaded on Friday, Sept. 27.
According to Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler, Mitchell was arrested as a result of an over four-month-long investigation designed to disrupt major narcotics trafficking in the City of Port Jervis and surrounding areas, including Pike County, Pennsylvania.

A Hudson Valley man and woman were charged, and police seized drugs, guns, and cash following a two-year investigation into drug sales in the area.
The incident occurred in Orange County on Thursday, July 25, at three locations in the city of Middletown.

A Hudson Valley man faces years in prison after pleading guilty to killing another man during a dispute involving family members.
Ulster County resident Dominic “Domo” King, age 32, of Kingston, made the plea on Thursday, Aug. 24 in the shooting death of Gerald Keith Richardson, age 39, of Ellenville in 2021, said the Ulster County District Attorney's Office.
The plea follows a 2021 indictment by the Ulster County Grand Jury and extradition from California.

Teen Admits To Fatally Shooting Man At Apartment Complex In Hudson Valley
A teen has pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the shooting death of a Hudson Valley man in 2019.
Jayden Rodriguez, age 19, from the Township of North Bergen, New Jersey, made the plea on Tuesday, May 1, for the homicide which took place in Spring Valley, according to Rockland County District Attorney Tom Walsh.
During his plea, Rodriguez admitted that on or about Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019, he entered a Spring Valley apartment building and fired numerous shots at an individual identified as 20-year-old Emerson Jean-Baptiste, ultimately causing his death, Walsh said.

A Hudson Valley man who has been on the run in connection with a shooting earlier this year has been captured and charged with attempted murder.
Orange County resident Lavelle Stackhouse, age 24, of Newburgh, was arraigned on Tuesday, Dec. 7, and charged with attempted murder in the second degree.
According to Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler, the indictment was in connection with a shooting of a man in the middle of the day on Williams Street, in the City of Newburgh, on Wed. Sept. 8.

Police in Ulster County have arrested a suspect wanted for the shooting death of a man found lying on a city sidewalk.
Truvock Noble, aka Jeffrey Ali, age 45, undomiciled, was arrested on Tuesday, March 23 in the town of Fishkill, by Kingston and Fishkill Police for the Sunday, March 21 killing of Erick Crawford, age 38, of Kingston, said the Kingston Police.

Three men arrested Friday for robbing the New City Key Bank branch have been identified by the FBI and the Clarkstown Police Department.
Jason Parris, 34, of Nyack, Demetrice Young, 27, of Spring Valley, and Iyibia Brown, 24, of Monsey, were apprehended by police just hours following the brazen robbery where several employees were threatened with a handgun, police said.
The robbery took place around 2:20 p.m. Friday, at the Key Bank, 270 S. Little Tor Road, when two men dressed all in black with their faces covered and waving a handgun, walked into the bank, said Clarkstown Police.
