A 42-year-old mother from New York was stabbed to death by her husband hours after revealing to family that she intended to divorce him, prosecutors said.
Long Island resident Anthony Paruolo, age 37, of North Bellmore, was formally arraigned on murder charges in Nassau County Court Monday, Nov. 14, in the death of his wife, Danielle Paruolo.

A Hudson Valley man is charged with striking his wife after becoming angry over an iPad purchase, police said.
On Tuesday, Nov. 2, at around 7:50 p.m., police in Putnam County responded to a residence in Kent at 51 Yorktown Rd. after receiving a report of a possible physical dispute, according to Kent Police.

Man Accused Of Assaulting Mother, Endangering Child In Hudson Valley
A Hudson Valley man was arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman while he was holding their child.
The incident took place in Rockland County on Friday, Oct. 21 in Hillcrest.
According to the Ramapo Police, officers responded to a home in the Hillcrest section of the town for a domestic dispute.
Upon arrival, it was learned that the man had left the scene, but an investigation revealed that the man had assaulted the woman while he was holding their infant child, police said.

Man Sentenced For Killing Wife During Dispute At Home In Westchester
A man has been sentenced for stabbing his wife to death during a dispute at her Westchester home.
Kirk Fisher, age 60, of the Bronx, was sentenced on Thursday, Sept. 29, to 20 years in state prison for killing his wife Kaya Green, at her Mount Vernon home, said Westchester County District Attorney Miriam Rocah.
