Guida's Dairy Says Diluted Sanitizer Made Its Way Into Small Batch Of Milk Cartons
An investigation has been launched in Connecticut after an incident involving contaminated milk cartons that contained diluted sanitizer. The Connecticut Department of Agriculture Bureau of Regulatory Services announced that it is investigating an incident involving Hartford County-based Guida’s Dary in New Britain regarding 1 percent low-fat half-pint milk cartons that could be a health hazard. Dairy Giant Issues Massive Recall Due To Salmonella Contamination
One of the world’s largest dairy groups may have been selling salmonella-tainted baby milk for more than a decade, according to multiple reports. French dairy group Lactalis has recalled 12 million tins of its products from around the world after babies took ill after drinking the contaminated product. According to reports, there were 38 Salmonella Agona infections reported between mid-August and December last year, with three dozen of those linked to Lactalis milk.
