Two people face grand larceny charges after they were caught in the parking lot of a CVS Pharmacy with stolen items from Northern Westchester businesses, police said. The arrests stemmed from an incident on Thursday, April 25, when Yorktown Police reported that two shoplifting suspects had fled the town and may have been connected to other thefts in the area. Later in the day, detectives in Putnam County from the Carmel Police Department saw the suspects' vehicle in the parking lot of the CVS Pharmacy in Mahopac at 100 East Lake Blvd. (Route 6). CVS Pharmacy in New York has added new sites across the state offering COVID-19 vaccines to state residents 50 years or older and those with comorbidities. Orangetown Shoplifting Suspect Tracked Down Near Palisades Parkway Overpass
An alleged shoplifter was taken into custody by investigators in Orange County after allegedly stealing more than $100 worth of merchandise from a CVS in Orangeburg, police said. Officers from the Orangetown Police Department responded to the CVS Pharmacy in the Orangetown Shopping Center in Orangeburg at approximately 1 p.. on Sunday, July 28, where there was a report of an alleged shoplifter. Pearl River Man Arrested Three Times For Stealing One Can Of Beer
An area man who had been arrested twice before for stealing one beer from an area store has been arrested again. Victor J. Scala, 57, of Pearl River, was arrested Thursday, Nov. 8, by the Orangetown Police for petit theft for allegedly stealing one beer from the CVS Pharmacy at 75 N. Middletown Road and then left without paying, the Orangetown Police said. Totowa Woman Scarred For Life After Finding Dead Rodent In Arizona Drink, Suit Says
A Totowa woman hoping for a refreshing beverage said she cracked open a can of Arizona to discover a dead rodent, according to a lawsuit filed in Superior Court. Samantha Corrado says she bought the drink at the Union Boulevard CVS in August 2016, finished the whole drink and then noticed that the can still weighed more than she was used to, the suit says.
