Alert Issued For Wanted Rockland Man An alert has been issued for a man who is wanted in Rockland County. The Clarkstown Police Department is attempting to locate 40-year-old Koran McDonald, of Newark, who is wanted on charges that include larceny and reckless driving. McDonald was arrested and later failed to appear for court proceedings and a warrant for his arrest was issued by the court. Police described McDonald as a 6-foot African American with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts has been asked to contact the Clarkstown Police Warrant Unit by calling (845) 639-5880.

The Clarkstown Police Department SMART Sales Unit worked with officers of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (SPCC) to carry out compliance checks of local businesses regarding minimum age purchase laws for e-cigarette (vape) and alcohol products throughout the month of August. Members of the Clarkstown Police Department were alerted to an injured hawk on L’Ambiance Court in Bardonia on Saturday, Aug. 10. Police said that the hawk had an injured wing, and was unable to fly. The 2017 Yahama Raptor 700 ATV was stolen from the home around 1:30 a.m., Thursday, June 13, from Watch Hill Court, said the Clarkstown Police Department.
