Two Rockland County building inspectors have been indicted on felony charges involving the filing of false inspection reports in connection with a massive fire that killed two people, including a firefighter. Four Charged, Two Arrest Warrants Pending In Fatal Hudson Valley Fire, DA Says
Four people have been arrested, including two facing manslaughter charges, and two others face arrest warrants in connection with a fatal fire at a Rockland County home for elderly residents. Photos: Large Tree Crashes Onto House In Area
A family in the area got an unexpected and unwelcome wake-up call when a tree came crashing through the roof of the house. First responders in Ramapo were dispatched to the residence on Feller Court in the Village of Airmont shortly after 4:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12 where there was a report of a large, tall tree that had uprooted and struck the household.
