Intoxicated Northern Westchester Boater Crashes Into Sailboat, Police Say An allegedly intoxicated boater nearly caused a catastrophic incident after crashing his speed boat into a sailboat that was anchored in the Hudson River in Northern Westchester, authorities said. Ossining resident Mark See was charged with boating while intoxicated after the crash at approximately 9:45 p.m. Thursday, July 30 about a mile south of Teller’s Point off the town of Ossining. Rockland Man Busted For Intoxicated Boating In Restricted Tappan Zee Bridge Waters A man from Nyack was busted for boating while intoxicated during a late night jaunt in a restricted area of the Hudson River near the Tappan Zee Bridge in Rockland County. The Rockland County Sheriff’s Marine Unit spotted a boater operating his vessel erratically at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 24 within the exclusionary zone of the Tappan Zee Bridge.
