Person Suffers Critical Injuries After Falling Through Roof In Hudson Valley
A person suffered critical injuries after falling through the roof of a home in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County, in the Red Oaks Mill area of Arlington, at 12:50 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11. According to Arlington Fire District Deputy Chief Adam Kangas, the unidentified victim was found to have sustained severe injuries and required transport to a Level One trauma center. A three-alarm fire destroyed a popular Hudson Valley pizza restaurant and heavily damaged an apartment building. The incident took place in Dutchess County in the Town of Poughkeepsie in the Arlington Business District around 2 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 1. Police have released the ID for a man killed in a fire at a condominium. John Stein, age 60, of the Town of Poughkeepsie, was killed during a fire around 6:35 p.m., Saturday, April 3, at the Greenbriar Condominiums at 2740 South Road in Poughkeepsie, said Town Of Poughkeepsie Police Captain Michael O'Dowd.
