ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. — Three Rockland County schools were rated in the top 100 in the state out of 1,200 public high schools in New York by the education website Niche.

Niche rates schools in areas like academics, teachers, student culture, diversity, resources and facilities. Clarkstown High School South ranked 71 out of 100, Clarkstown High School North, 88, and Nyack Senior High School, 98.

Clarkstown High School South

  • It has 1,467 students in grades 9-12.
  • Average Graduation Rate: 95 percent
  • Percent Proficient: Math 99 percent
  • Percent Proficient: Reading 99 percent
  • Average SAT Score: 1840
  • Average ACT Score: 29

Clarkstown High School North

  • It has 1,458 students in grades 9-12.
  • Average Graduation Rate: 96 percent
  • Percent Proficient: Math 98 percent
  • Percent Proficient: Reading 96 percent

Nyack Senior High School

  • It has 923 students in grades 9-12.
