The school board elections will take place on May 16, the same day budgets are voted on.

In East Ramapo, Mark Berkowitz and Alexandra Manigo are running for a three-year term. Incumbent Moshe Hopstein is not seeking a fourth term. Board Vice President Harry Grossman is seeking a second term and is being challenged by Eric Goodwin. Chevon Dos Reis is facing Joel Freilich for an open seat following the resignation of Joe Chajmovicz.

In South Orangetown, Board President Guy DeVincenzo faces Christine Lee and Ira Steinberg, while incumbent Lee Jacobs faces Scott Vanderhoef.

In Nyack,  incumbents Leann Irving, Jennifer Marraccino and James Marshall are running for re-election, along with Beth Davidson and Michael Lockett.

In Ramapo Central, Paul Shapiro, Thomas Donnelly and Darrell Frasier are running for two seats.

Clarkstown, Nanuet, North Rockland and Pearl River have uncontested races.
