In recent days Trump has stepped up his anti-media campaign saying he's not running against "crooked Hillary," he's running against the "crooked media."
Politicians on both side of the aisle have, in the past, been known to complain about media scrutiny, accusing journalists of being biased. Hillary Clinton, for her part, is not immune to media scrutiny -- think the simmering controversy about her emails.
Which leads back to the question of fairness.
