Two Boats Burn At Stony Point Marina

STONY POINT, N.Y. --- At least two boats burned during a fire at the Stoney Point Marina on Monday, according to Stony Point Police Lt. Keith Williams.

At least two boats are on fire at the Stony Brook Marina at 36 Hudson Dr. All local firefighters are on the scene.

The boats, slated for salvage, caught fire early Monday afternoon at the marina located at 36 Hudson Drive. The Stony Point Fire Department was able to prevent the fire from spreading, police said.

A cause for the fire has not been determined at this time, Williams added.

Employees with the marina declined to comment on the fire.
