Stony Point Woman, 50, Charged With Identity Theft

STONY POINT, N.Y. -- A Stony Point woman has been charged with identity theft after opening a fake credit card account using another person's identity, according to the Stony Point Police Department.

Diane Brennan, 50, was charged Tuesday following an investigation into a complaint from a relative that she had opened the account intentionally defrauding the victim, said Lt. Keith Williams.

Brennan was released following her arrest and is schedule to appear in court on Jan. 3, 2017.
