Police: Stony Point Man Damages Car With Stick During Domestic Dispute

STONY POINT, N.Y. -- Stony Point police arrested a 62-year-old man on a criminal mischief charge that stemmed from a domestic dispute, authorities said.

Rocco Arancibia, a Stony Point resident, was taken into custody following an investigation into a domestic dispute on Aug. 25, according to officials.

Arancibia allegedly damaged the victim’s vehicle during the course of the incident by striking it with a stick, police reported.

The defendant was charged with criminal mischief in the fourth degree, arraigned and released after posting $250 bail, according to officials.

He was issued an appearance ticket for later this month, police report.
