Brian Stanislas of Spring Valley was arrested around 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 after Stony Point officers watched as he pulled out of the Budget Motor Inn, with the excessively tinted windows that obstructed his view and using an electronic device on South Liberty Drive, said Lt. Daniel Hylas.

After the stop, it was discovered that Stanislas vehicle's license was suspended and that he was allegedly in possession of two counterfeit $100 bills, Hylas said.

He was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operator and possession of a forged instrument.

Stanislas was released after posting $1,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 7.
