Fernando Mato, 49, was busted after he was stopped for a routine traffic violation and officers found that the Indiana "dealer" tag on his vehicle was a fake and he was driving on a suspended New York driver's license, police said.
Mato was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument and aggravated unlicensed operation.
He was released on $2,000 bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
