Daniel Monahan, 20, was arrested around 4:20 a.m. after a resident of Lewis Drive called police reporting she saw someone inside her vehicle parked in her driveway and that her husband was chasing the person on foot, said Stony Point Lt. Daniel Hylas.

A responding patrol officer located Monahan in Laurel Park a short distance away, he added.

An investigation led to Monahan being charged with larceny from that car and connected him to at least one more larceny from another car and stealing and possessing a stolen credit card, Hylas said.

Monahan was processed and released without bail. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 16.
