Haverstraw Teen Steals $750 From Residence, Police Say

HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. -- A Haverstraw teen was charged with stealing $750 and other items on Thursday following an investigation by Stony Point Police of a home burglary, according to Lt. Keith Williams.

Jason J. Rodriguez, 18, was charged with burglary and criminal possession of stolen property after detectives recovered the items taken during the burglary that occurred on the same day, including a wallet, $750 in cash and a PS4 gaming system, Williams said.

Rodriguez was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in court on March 21.
