Haverstraw Man Arrested After Domestic Disputes

HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. -- A Haverstraw man was picked up by Stony Point police on domestic violence charges following two incidents over a three-day period.

Manuel A. Hernandez, 26, is awaiting arraignment on charges of criminal contempt and aggravated harassment after being accused of violating a protective order on two separate occasions, police said.

The first incident took place Aug. 28, when Hernandez was charged with aggravated harassment, police said. He was arrested again Aug. 31, after contacting the same victim despite a protective order, police said.
