Firefighters Injured Battling Newburgh Building Blaze

NEWBURGH, N. Y. -- Two firefighters were injured fighting a Tuesday evening three-alarm fire in an abandoned building in Newburgh, HVNN.com reports.

Area neighbors expressed appreciation of the firefighters' work to quickly extinguish the blaze. Firefighters from the Newburgh, Beacon and Vails Gate departments worked together to put out the fire at 197 First St. in Newburgh, HVNN.com says.
