The body of a man who jumped off the Bear Mountain Bridge was recovered Wednesday during a search, according to the New York State Police.
The man jumped from the bridge around 2:15 p.m. Tuesday. His body recovered at 10:33 a.m. Wednesday, said Trooper Melissa McMorris.
His identity is being withheld at this time, pending an autopsy Thursday in Rockland County, she said.
The State Police were assisted by the Rockland County Sheriff's Office Marine Boat and the New York State Park Police
