NORTH ROCKLAND, N.Y. – Scott J. Mulcahy, 51, of Wakefield, Mass. and formerly of North Rockland, died Sunday, March 20.
He was born Sept. 14, 1964, in New London, Conn., the son of Cornelius R. and Joan (Schott) Mulcahy,
He was a graduate of North Rockland High School's class of 1983 and attended Wagner College in Staten Island. He moved to Massachusetts in 1983 and settled in Wakefield in 1984.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sons, Matthew S. and Nicholas J. Mulcahy, both of Wakefield; siblings Pat Demello of Syracuse, Neil and his wife, Helen Mulcahy, of Toms River, N.J., Keith and his wife, Molly Mulcahy, of Stony Point, and Erinmarie and her husband, Francis Forte, of New Milford, N.J.; many nieces and nephews; his former wife, Nancy (Coogan) Mulcahy of North Reading; and his girlfriend Sally Maijenski and her son, Michaell, of Danvers.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the TJ McGowan Sons Funeral Home, 71 N. Central Highway, Garnerville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Gregory Barbarigo Church, Garnerville, with interment to follow in St. Peters Cemetery in Haverstraw.
