Tree Comes Down On House In Garnerville

ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- A tree landed on top of a home in Garnerville early Monday, causing minor damage to the home.

The tree hit the home at 6 Hewitt St., around 8:48 a.m. bringing down live power lines, police said.

Garnerville police and fire responded to assist residents and to make sure the power lines were blocked off.

No one was injured and officials cleared the scene within an hour.
